MFT World Card Making Day Challenge 3: By the Numbers

This Card features an older number set by MFT that I LOVE.
I use an adhesive sheet with the paper to make adhering them easier.

I needed a birthday card for a boy in a couple weeks so I made this one using the number die, the sentiment from "the Whole Herd" set and the Die-Namics Rectangle Word Window Frame

STS24: masculine card

Played along with the new Seize the Sketch Challenge and made a masculine card.
I intend to use it as a birthday card.

The papers and stickers are all leftovers from the Simple Stories "Urban Traveler"
line I had used for our vacation last year.

The green panel was cut using the Lawn Fawn stitched journaling die.
The little red letter stickers are from Cosmo Cricket.

Skylander B-day card

Needed a birthday card for a 9 year old boy.  This CAS(e) this Sketch #81 sketch challenge popped up so I used it to get the ideas flowing.
I just used the sketch for the FUSION challenge.
I took the Skylander image from the brand website and printed it on heavy cardstock.

The banner was cut by hand while the stars came from my
 Lawn Fawn Journaling die set.

Random Cards

Very little crafting since I went back to work after being home for 10 years, but I have a few to share that I have made for specific occasions.

Lego card for boy's birthday:

Skylander card for another boy's birthday.
I took the image off the internet.
My son came up with the sentiment.
 The character's name is "Crusher".

I made two of these for my son's coaches this fall.

Hope to see you again soon,

The Bingo card and papers are from Simple Stories.

The glass has a bit of Glossy Accents and Zig glitter pen.

Skylander birthday card

Another boy's birthday coming up.
We got him a couple Skylander characters so I wanted to use that for the theme of the card.
I found the image on the internet of "Crusher" which inspired my sentiment.
I went through my stash to find the words to stamp.

I am using the sketch from CASE(E) this Sketch #31

Seize the Bday: boy bday card

Needed another birthday card this weekend for a boy.
I printed out the new Seize the Birthday sketch
and grabbed my "Swimsuit Season" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
We are giving the boy a slip-n-slide so I thought the suit themed card would be cute.
The pants were stamped and cut out.
The water splashes were stamped directly on the paper,
colored with Copics and then glittered.

The frame was a late addition.
I bought them at Michaels.
The other side was orange floral so I flipped it over and
colored it with Copics to match the card.
Seems to work vs.having my suit floating on the card.

Lego Ninjago Party Invite

Our little guy's 6th birthday is in a couple of weeks.
He wanted a Lego Ninjago themed cake so I use that for his party invitation.

Lego Ninjago Party Invite

The Ninja was copied from one of the Lego instruction manuals and printed on lightweight card stock for the printer. I popped him with dimensional foam.
The Lego "brick" was handmade with a hand punch.
There's two layers of dots on there.
It was so painstaking to layer so I stopped at two layers.
I put a coat of Glossy Accents on the brick to make it more realistic.
Hard to see that in photo.

Blast Off!

Last card for the Card drive for Grayson.

I made all these in one sitting.
I am taking a graduate class on literacy and while it is really educational, my craft time is very limited almost nonexistent until the end of April.
I walked in my craft room the other day just to see it.
I miss my toys!!

This card features MME "Lil' Robots" paper collection and stamps by Recollections.

Spaceship was paper pieced and popped with foam:

Here's a card heading for the Happy Mail for Grayson Drive.
The card features papers from the MME "Lil' Robots" collection and stamps by Recollection (scored them for $1.50 at Michael's clearance sale)
The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp's "You" set.
The little green banner is made with MFT "mini pennants" die.
Used a bit of Glossy Accents, Stickles and Shiny black fabric paint to jazz it up.
Inspired by the sketch, I added the punched-out heart.
