Sharing a card I designed to greet new babies.
Both cards feature Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" set.
The boy version also used "Harold's ABCs".
The planes were colored with Copics.

The girl version features pink patterned paper by Echo Park and a sentiment by Verve.

I am posting to share these for the Lawnscaping FB DT call.
I think I have 23 Lawn Fawn sets and more on the wishlist.
ALWAYS more on the list...

STS#23: Baby Card

Playing along with the Seize the Sketch Challenge #23.
I used the sketch to make a welcome baby card.
I flipped the sketch side-ways and used a rectangle back panel rather then the oval.

The paper and stickers are all from Echo Park "Bundle of Joy" collection.
The back pink panel was cut with the Stitched Journaling Die by Lawn Fawn.

Couple weeks left to get cards in for my Card Drive for Emma

Lawnscaping #2/SSS Bingo

Hi there!

This baby card was inspired by two challenges.  For the 2nd Lawnscaping Challenge we were to case the ever-so talented Kelly-Marie Alvarez (Mrs. Lawn Fawn) and you'll see her card below.  I love the dimension in her card and the multiple flowers.

The other inspiration comes from this weeks' Simon Says Stamp bingo challenge which I chose buttons, flowers, glitter.  The bingo board is below too.

Lots of paper piecing on this one.  The banner, birds, patterned and blue flowers were paper pieced and the little pink flowers were colored with pencils.
This will go to the church to welcome a new baby girl!

Here's Kelly-Marie's card.  The original post is HERE.

Here's the Bingo board at Simon Says Stamp:

Supplies:
Paper: BG "Olivia" and cardstock
Stamps:  Lawn Fawn's "Bannerific" and "Harold's ABC", Stampin Up flowers and flowers by Autumn Leaves, dots are Stamps by Judith
Ink: Distress Broken China, Memento Tuxedo Black and Stampin' Up pink
Misc: Stickles diamond and pink, buttons, gem, pop dot

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day!  ~Kelly

Limelight Sketch #64/Baby card

Greetings.  So pretty outside today.  Beautiful snowflakes are falling outside my window.  ahhhhhhh....
Managed to get my son's cold so I am scooping them up for a nap in a bit.  The little guy won't nap anymore (even when he REALLY needs one) unless I lay with him or sit in his room with him.  Sometimes we cuddle up in mom and dad's bed with some books, read/look for a bit and fall asleep.  They call it a nap, I call it cuddle time while I still can with them.  The boys are 3 1/2 and 5 1/2.

The card I am sharing was inspired by Limelight Papercrafts Sketch Challenge #64 shown below.  This is a baby card for church.  I am slowly making cards for the children's director to send out to families with new babies.

The "ribbon" is fuzzy with wire inside of it which was rather thick.  To get the top to adhere to the card, I decided to just pop that layer.  I really like the dimension it gave!
Gives it some extra substance.

Here's the Sketch:

Supplies:
Paper: BG "Olivia" and cardstock from HL
Cricut: outer Butterfly "Storybook"; circle "George"
Ribbon: Hobby Lobby
Stamp: Hero Arts
Ink:  Distress Peeled Paint
Punches: EK Success "Donut chain", MS "butterfly"

Thanks for stopping by today.  Now to find some little boys for a nap..... -Kelly

Welcome Baby

Hello there. I am sharing a card today inspired by the beautiful color combination found in the picture below from challenge #25 by Off The Wall Craftiness. So pretty with the two shades of pink and the hint of gray. I needed to make some baby cards to welcome the little ones to church and wanted to try using felt. The idea of using felt came from the Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn swap a few weeks ago where they stamped on felt. So here's my try at it!

Thank you to the sponsor for this challenge,
tammy i. Check out her cute Etsy store.

Supplies:

Papers: cardstock from Hobby Lobby and stash

Stamps: Stampin Up's "God is Love" & Lawn Fawn's "Bannerific" and "Harold's ABC"

Ink: Stampin Up's "Going Gray" and "Pink Passion" & Memento black
Other: Cricut "George", Cuttlebug "Spots-n-Dots", pink felt, gems by paper Studio, JoAnn's heart brad, pop dots, Stickles

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope the day brings much joy! -Kelly
