WM60: Hotwheel Party

Today I am sharing some project I made up for our son's 4th birthday.
Similar to the invites, I cut out the cars from Valentines and used
mod podge to decorate small notebooks from Big Lots.
I thought they'd get a kick out of having their names on them too.

Here are the little bags that each child received.
I inked one of his cars and ran it across the bag a few times.
The names are made with paint and some Making Memories
foam stamps from a "few" yrs back...hee hee
They contained the notebook and a hotwheel:

Here's the cake.  Black sugar crystals for the main road.  Road edge is brown sugar.
Grass tip #233.  Candy rocks.  The name logo and "4" are made out of candy melts.

Thank You cards made with Lawn Fawn's "Say Cheese" set.
Cars were cut out from HL paper and stickle-ized

I am sharing this project for the Wee Memories Challenge #60: Party Time!

Pandamania!

A few weeks ago our church held VBS week.  The theme was PandaMania!
I used my Create a Critter cartridge on my Cricut to make
panda bears to decorate the wall of my room.
The "trees" are cut out of paper from the rack at Michaels and the
leaves were cut out of construction paper.

I used green yarn as vines for the pandas to swing and play through the "trees".

Just wanted to share...
Thanks for stopping by!

WM60 & SSS: Polaroid card

Sharing a birthday card.
This card features Basic Grey's "Cupcake" collection and Lawn Fawn's "Say Cheese" set.
The design is based on a sketch from Simon Says Stamp.
The camera is stamped on the orange and then paper pieced with 2 papers.
I colored parts pencils and a glitter pen.
I added the brad for the on/off button.
I used my TH tiny attacher for the flash vs the stamp in the set for texture.

This morning I got my email blast from Paper Trey Ink with a link to Betsy Veldman's blog.
Her tip today was using various fonts on a card which gave me the idea to
mix the fonts from LF and HA in my sentiment.  LOVE this idea!

I cut several circles to layer the image panel and give dimension:

Some smiles on the inside:

BG45 & L12: the cat's meow!

Hi.
Been busy over here.
  Repairs in the house.
 Last week was VBS week.
Monday the little guy got 8 stitches in his forehead after falling
out of a chair inside the bank.
He cracked his head on the corner of a desk and it left a gash that bled like a horror movie.  Poor little thing was so brave at the hospital.
The stitches are now out and he's just fine. Whew!

Anyway, here's a card I made for a family member's birthday next week.
I stamped the kitty on kraft paper, colored him and then used brown flocking powder.

The card is based on this sketch:

Hi.
I am sharing a Christmas card I made using my Echo Park "Everybody Loves Christmas".
I finished my Christmas LO's and now I can use the scraps for cards.

I used the MOJO Monday Sketch #194 for the design.
Perfect sketch for 1" strips!
The snowman is a sticker from the collection.  I added diamond Stickles for some glitz.

Click on the picture to enlarge.  Seems like Blogger's photos are still a tad blurry.

L11, SSS, WM56: Father's day card

Howdy.
Sharing a card I made today that I will use for Father's Day.  I don't have a "Father's Day" sentiment I like (the one I have is a wonky $1 one), so I used this Hero Arts sentiment.
I stamped the clouds with StazOn on metallic paper and cut them out.
I stamped and cut out the plane and added metallic pen to the engines/jets and nose.

I am submitting this to a few challenges:

Supplies:
Stamps:  Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage", "Bannerific"; Hero Arts "Everyday Sayings"
Ink:  Memento black, StazOn black, & Versamark
