Basketball Cupcakes and Stand

Going a different direction today and sharing a little project
I made for my niece's graduation party.
I offered to make the cupcakes for the event and decided to make basketballs to represent the years she has played and her future games in college.

 Here's the final result.
I found a 3 tier cupcake stand by Wilton at Hobby Lobby.
I assembled it and took it the craft room to get it all gussied up for the event!

I cut 1" border strips out of black paper and then also used some leftover basketball border strips from Michael's by Recollections.  I think the letter stickers are from Hobby Lobby.
The front view.

The back view.
The stars were cut with a Sizzix die in my Cuttlebug.
I added a few gems here and there.

I saw this basketball cupcake on Pinterest.

I covered mine with orange icing (Wilton buttercream) and then
I dipped it in orange sprinkles.
The piping was done with Wilton Tip #5

BG and LF: postcard

Here's the Father's Day card I made for my father.
Features Lawn Fawn's "You've Got Mail"
Basic Grey's "Life of the Party" and Bazzill cardstock.

I stamped the postcard with brown Memento ink and
inked the edges with Distress ink (can't remember which color)
I used Barn Door red for the cancellation stamp.
The push pin is by Jolee's.

The postcard is raised with dimensional foam.

CC: washi banner

Sharing a card I made for Father's Day for my father-in-law.
Made the banner out of washi tape by K and Co. and Bella Blvd.

Glossy accents on the windshield and headlights.
Chevron patterned paper is by Moxxie.

Used 3 different sets (Lawn Fawn's "Harold's ABCs" and "On the Mend" &
Paper and Such "Daisies") to create this inside sentiment:

SSS and P&S: thank you with birds

Sharing a thank you card I made that was inspired by the current
Simon Says Stamp inspirational photo.
I liked the lemonade stand.
I choose the colors of the banner for my birds.

My background paper is from the Echo Park "Little Boy" collection.
The bird stamps from Paper and Such were paper pieced on Bazzill cardstock.
The "Thank You is from Paper and Such "Wild Roses" set.

I felt the card was pretty blah until I added the washi tape at the top.
Pulled it all together! yeah!

Touch of Glossy Accents on the birds for some pizazz
as well as a dot of shiny black on the eyes.

Easter 2011 LO with Lawn Fawn

Sharing this layout over on Two Peas in a Bucket.
There were other peoples' kids in the photos so I am sharing the basic layout design I found in my Scrapbook Generation's sketch book using Lawn Fawn's "The Bright Side" collection.

You should be able to click on the photo to see it more closely.
LOVE that background paper!
FYI: I scrap BOYS and this paper collection is cute for them too.
Decided I was going bold and use flowers on one of their LO's too!

All papers and stickers from Lawn Fawn's "The Bright Side" collection.

More Picture Perfect Summer cards

Hi.
Sharing some cards I made using Lawn Fawn stamps and Echo Park's "Splash" collection.
These were given to my son's teachers.
My original version is HERE.
My Quinn's ABC set was ruined after I made the first one
(note to self: shut door to room when kid sitting) so I had to make some changes.

Add caption

The banner was cut out of the paper and the "String" was drawn by hand:

Stamps by Lawn Fawn: Quinn's ABCs, Harold's ABCs, Say Cheese, Swimsuit Season
Papers by Echo Park "Splash"

I am submitting these cards in the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

Today is the first official day of summer for the boys!
