You are Amazing

Here's another Father's Day card I gave out.
The gift was a clock for the pool area so I used a pool theme for the card.
Features stamps by Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp (and "you" die).
The Bingo card and papers are from Simple Stories.

The glass has a bit of Glossy Accents and Zig glitter pen.

Bikini Babe!

Back again with a birthday card for a 6 year old girl who LOVES purple!
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #31
The stamps are Lawn Fawn's "Swimsuit Season" and the papers
are also by Lawn Fawn "The Bright Side"

Close up of the suit.
I used Hemptique string adhered with tape and glossy accents.
The pieces are popped with foam.
I added a bit of glitter with my new Zig Wink of Stella pen.
I started off paper piecing the ball and decided it was too painful so I pulled out the Copics!

Seize the Bday: boy bday card

Needed another birthday card this weekend for a boy.
I printed out the new Seize the Birthday sketch
and grabbed my "Swimsuit Season" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
We are giving the boy a slip-n-slide so I thought the suit themed card would be cute.
The pants were stamped and cut out.
The water splashes were stamped directly on the paper,
colored with Copics and then glittered.

The frame was a late addition.
I bought them at Michaels.
The other side was orange floral so I flipped it over and
colored it with Copics to match the card.
Seems to work vs.having my suit floating on the card.

Polaroid Birthday Card

Been busy here at our house.
My husband and I ripped all the shelving out of our master closet then patched, painted and rehung new shelving this weekend.  SO much more functional.

I am still working on the 16 scrapbook pages (8 for each child)
from our vacation last summer.
The basics are completed, just need to embellish a bit.
Nothing to write home about, just simple pages to remember the trip.

Made little progress on my 3 dimensional art project for our bedroom.
Bought the wrong paper, ran out of spray paint, ran out of glue sticks, ran out of motivation,
yadda yadda

Anyway, sharing a card I made this morning.
Lots if birthdays coming in October so I need to stock up!

The sentiments are supposed to mimic a flash going off...

Ok so this is my first attempt at coloring with Copics.
I won 40 of the Copic Ciao markers from Kathy's blog giveaway.
I admit I did not review any videos prior to coloring.
If you know of some good ones, please link me up.
I think it is *ok* for my first go at it.
Maybe looks better from a distance, hee hee

More Picture Perfect Summer cards

Hi.
Sharing some cards I made using Lawn Fawn stamps and Echo Park's "Splash" collection.
These were given to my son's teachers.
My original version is HERE.
My Quinn's ABC set was ruined after I made the first one
(note to self: shut door to room when kid sitting) so I had to make some changes.

Add caption

The banner was cut out of the paper and the "String" was drawn by hand:

Stamps by Lawn Fawn: Quinn's ABCs, Harold's ABCs, Say Cheese, Swimsuit Season
Papers by Echo Park "Splash"

I am submitting these cards in the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

Today is the first official day of summer for the boys!
Wish me luck, hee hee!!

L34: Have a Picture Perfect Summer!

Sharing a card I made for one of my son's teachers.
This card features stamps by Lawn Fawn and paper from Echo Park's "Splash" collection.
The camera and "picture perfect" sentiment were heat embossed.

The "ball" was punched out of one of the papers.
Not sure what it was supposed to be, maybe a pinwheel?

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn's "Say Cheese", "Swimsuit Season", "Quinn's ABCs and "Harold's ABcs"
Papers: Echo Park
Other: Uniball pen, gems

Easy Peasy!

This card is for my niece's birthday.  She LOVES dogs!
Lots of Lawn Fawn here!
