Seize the Bday: boy bday card

Needed another birthday card this weekend for a boy.
I printed out the new Seize the Birthday sketch
and grabbed my "Swimsuit Season" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
We are giving the boy a slip-n-slide so I thought the suit themed card would be cute.
The pants were stamped and cut out.
The water splashes were stamped directly on the paper,
colored with Copics and then glittered.

The frame was a late addition.
I bought them at Michaels.
The other side was orange floral so I flipped it over and
colored it with Copics to match the card.
Seems to work vs.having my suit floating on the card.

One of a Kind

Made a bright card this weekend.
This will be used for as a male birthday card.

Colors were inspired by The Play Date Cafe's inspiration photo

The design is based on the sketch from Seize the Birthday #13: masculine.

The papers are from Echo Park's "Little Boy" collection.
The cute camera die cut came from Amy.  It was white.
I colored it with distress ink and added some of the papers to the holes.
There's Glossy Accents on the flash window.

 Here's the color inspiration:

Robot Card

I was craving a little craft time so I decided to play with the
 current Seize the Birthday Sketch.
Made the Polaroid piece using the Spellbinders square dies.
Found the idea on Nina B Designs' blog.

Robot Birthday Card

The robot was stamped and colored with Copics.
I paper pieced the larger gray pieces.
A dab of Glossy Accents and Liquid Pearl was added for pizazz!

I wanna be a Ninja!

Here's a birthday card I made for a 6 year old boy.
The theme of the party was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
(singing the theme song in your head, aren't ya?).
I found this cute turtle on the Create-a-Critter cartridge and decided to
turn him into a ninja to fit the party theme.
The boy was the orange one for Halloween so that led the way for the color scheme.

Other Supplies:
Brads for eyes,
folded ribbon for headband
net ribbon from Ribbon Carousel
striped paper by Echo park

I am entering this card into the NEW Seize the Birthday challenge site.
