CTS30: Christmas in May

I decided to use this week's CAS(E) this sketch design #30 to whip up a Christmas card.
I found the little veneer houses at Michaels and thought they'd be cute with a "from our house to yours" sentiment on the inside later...

I used a holiday 6x6 pad by MME.  I colored the house with Copics.

The banners were made with washi tape.

THANKS for a great year....

Made cards and bags for the boys' teachers.
Features Lawn Fawn's new "A Good Apple" set.
The sentiment was embossed on the black piece.
The apples, erasers and chalk pieces were stamped, colored and cut out.
There's a bit of Glossy Accents on the apples.
The red polka dot paper is MME.

I stamped an apple on the envelopes too:

Here are some other bags I made.  I ran out of the polka paper.

What will go in the bags?
These mason jars with a flower.
The idea is straight from Pinterest.

CAS(E) 29: Make a Splash!

The new CAS(E) this sketch challenge #29 came at the perfect time.
I needed to make a birthday card for a little boy by the weekend.

My card features Lawn Fawn's "Swimsuit Season"
and Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" paper collection.

I stamp the suit and water splashes and cut them out.
I added Glossy Accents to the water splashes.
The arrow is made from an MFT die called "Lead the Way".

You Light Up My Life

Had a few minutes this morning and wanted to play with the new Lawn Fawn stamps made for Studio Calico that I won from the LF blog a few weeks ago.
I decided to make a birthday card for my husband's upcoming birthday in June.
I used leftover papers from my Echo Park "Little Boy" collection.

I used the sketch from CAS(E) #28 for the design.
I replicated the dots on the sketch by using two different sized gems stones.
I added Glossy Accents on the bulb and black enamel on the bottom and rays.

I am also entering this card in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge 101: Stamping on designer paper. The light bulb was stamped on the EP paper.

Happy Birthday, Sunshine!

I had a few minutes the other day while the little guy was playing in the tub.
My craft room is across the hall so I grabbed one of my stamp sets called "Typically Teen" and my new distress ink pad "mustard seed".
I grabbed some scrap paper and stamped here and there,
added some different colors and liked my color scheme.
I decided to try a sun ray pattern with the stamp I had been using
and the color combo I had put together.

Here is the result:

Once the ray was finished, I added a sentiment in a black and the
the word "sunshine" in the orange to be a bit playful.
I finished the card with a light mist of Perfect Pearls and water to add some sheen.

Supplies:
Stamps: Typically Teen by Karen Baker for The Craft's Meow and Harold's ABCs by Lawn Fawn
Ink: Distress inks in mustard seed, spiced marmalade and pumice stone, black memento
orange cardstock: Bazzill

Super Girl!

This Super Girl card is going to a SUPER little Girl for being such a SUPER sister!
Addison had treatment this week and the little sister had her tonsils taken out.
They were in the hospital the same day.  Can you imagine the stress on the parents?

Both girls came out fine.
I read that the middle sister helped clean the house and prepare for their return home.
This card is for her.
The Super Girl for being such BIG helper to her
family while her two others sisters recovered.

Supplies:
Papers:  We R Memory Keepers
Stickers:  Recollections

CAS set

Been away for a while.
Spent last week basking in the fun and sun of Arizona.

Sharing cards I made for a gift set I gave someone to send some happy mail to others.
They feature Lawn Fawn's "On the Mend" and Hero Arts sentiments.

The flowers were stamped, cut out, and popped.
I added Glossy Accents to the vase.
There's a couple score lines at the top of the card.
(bad photography day)
