Easter 2011 LO with Lawn Fawn

Sharing this layout over on Two Peas in a Bucket.
There were other peoples' kids in the photos so I am sharing the basic layout design I found in my Scrapbook Generation's sketch book using Lawn Fawn's "The Bright Side" collection.

You should be able to click on the photo to see it more closely.
LOVE that background paper!
FYI: I scrap BOYS and this paper collection is cute for them too.
Decided I was going bold and use flowers on one of their LO's too!

All papers and stickers from Lawn Fawn's "The Bright Side" collection.
buttons and flowers from stash

I am entering this in the Lawn Fawn contest over at Two Peas in a Bucket.
and the Lawnscaping #35: Patterned Paper Challenge.

CCC79, PV and CC164: Fall Treat bags

Hi.
Sharing some treat bags I am making for my 3 year olds at church.
I found the poem on the Internet and changed a few words for their age level.

I'll write their name on that line beside the pumpkin.
so it will read "May God's light shine in _____".

The pumpkin was stamped in orange and brown and pieced together.  I used the tree leaf in the set to make a leaf for the pumpkin... little creative license, ha ha

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

I added various gems, buttons and bling to make each different.
There are 2 of each card for a set of 8.

The envies stamped on the front and back:

Handmade box for the set.  I used the video HERE for the box.

SSS, BG47 & 2Ps: Out of Print card

I recently bought some of the YUMMY Basic Grey "Out of Print".
WOW!  This is just a beautiful line.
I stamped the HA flower on two diff. patterns, then layered and embellished it.
Made my front panel out of various patterns and distressed the green CS panel.
I felt that it needed a sentiment so I made a banner with "hello" and stitched the top.

To see the picture more clearly, please click on it.  Darn Blogger...

Stamps: Lawn Fawn's "Bannerific" and "Harold's ABC"; Hero Arts "Layered Flowers"

Thank You Card Featuring Lawn Fawn Stamps

Here's a "thank you" card for A's kindergarten teacher for the end of year gift.
I still need to decorate the bag.

This picture shows the tires a little better.
I think I bought that embossing pen 8 years ago and have just started using it!

The inside.  Flowers from "Cruising Through Life" set and grass from "Critters in the Burbs".

Details:
  • Stamped bicycle image on the patterned paper and a few others to cut
  • Paper pieced the bike frame, seat, and basket
  • Colored the tire black, then used an embossing pen & heat embossed it with black
  • The hearts were stamped, colored, some glittered and some have glossy accents.  There's a little masking in the basket of hearts.
  • The blue panel was embossed and distressed on the edges
  • The top panel is raised with dimensional foam
  • I am VERY happy with the results.  One of my all-time favorites!

The design was inspired by this Sketch by Lucy Abrams from the Lily Pad Cards Challenge:
