L40: Make a background

howdy!
Had some fun making this little gem.
Created the background using two stamps from Lawn Fawn's "Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum"
using white embossing powder.  I did two lines at a time.

Supplies:
Stamps by Lawn Fawn
Paper: cs by Bazzill and patterned papers by MME
Other: embossing powder, Spellbinders Wonky rectangles, Hemtique string, Fiskars punch

I am entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge #40
Make Your Own Background Paper
and Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes!

All was well and good until I stabbed myself with the
stick pin I had in my bottle of Glossy Accents.
And we're not talking a prick, but the thing was REAL deep and ached for a while.
So glad not to get any blood on the card after painstakingly making that background!

Thanks for looking... and be careful out there crafters, it is a dangerous game we play....

Composition Books

Hello!
Back to school for both boys.
One is in second grade and the other is in half-day kindergarten.
They both seem to be enjoying school so far.

I am sharing a couple composition books I decorated for some teachers.
I like mine to be as flat as possible to easily slide into a bag.

All of the sides are covered but I didn't photograph the others.

Supplies:
Papers: DCWV and Paper Studio
Other: MM flowers, Jolee's thumb tacks, mod podge

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Birthday Daisies

Sharing a card I just love!
These MME papers go so beautifully together for this sketch.

I combined two challenges, one to use patterned papers and
another to use a sketch and came up with this cutie.

I stamped the flowers on 3 different papers from the pad
and glued them on top of the full stamped image.
I added a bit of shiny paint to accent the center of the flowers.

Here's the sketch from The Craft's Meow:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Paper and Such: Just Stamp on it (Stamp on designer paper)

Supplies:
Stamps: Paper and Such "Daisies" and Hero Arts "You're the Best" sentiment
Papers:  MME Stella and Rose "Hazel"

Howdy.
Sharing a card I made for the current Jingle Belles challenge.
Papers and stickers are from Echo Park.

Here's the Sketch:

Supplies:
Papers: Echo park "Merry Christmas"

Our main computer is down and I had to take the photo with my iphone so it's a bit blurry.
DH has called an IT guy and we'll see.... ugh.  I had a lot of photos backed up but not the summer ones, but they may still be on my camera. Great picture of this card on there too..

Have a great day,

thank you card featuring Lawn Fawn

HI there!
Sharing a "thank You" card I made for someone.

CAS look.
Used Lawn Fawn's "On the Mend" flower vase and a
Lawn Fawn "thank you" that was a freebie in one of my orders.

I scored the top and then embossed the "thank you" in white.

I used 3 different colored pink pencils on the flower and added a bit of Stickles.
I put  a touch of Glossy Accents on the vase.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Catered Crop: feature WHITE
