MFT Camp Create: Day 2 Resist

Day 2's challenge was emboss resist.
I embossed with white powder then used lilac distress ink over the top
and flicked with Catherine Pooler ink.

I really LOVE how this one turned out and will make
more like this with different sentiments.

Sending Prayers

Great, but busy start to the new school year.
Sharing some cards I made as sympathy cards and thinking of you cards.
Some cards are generational stamping and some are two color of ink.

That teal one was my favorite, but I didn't get an individual picture of it.

Sympathy Card

Sharing a card I gave to a friend going through a difficult time.
The bunny's sweet face was sure to cheer anyone up.

I colored Rosie with Copics.
The twine is from The Twinery.
That raised panel is by Nestablilites.
The background stamp is "friendship definition" by HA.

I am entering this into the Purple Onion Stacey Yacula card challenge.

CTS#89: Wishing You Comfort

Howdy.
Had some time yesterday to play along with the new CAS(E) this Sketch.
I decided to use my CAS-ual Fridays Fri-dies "Casual Comfort" as
well as the coordinating stamp sentiment.

The background is punchinella by Neat and Tangled.
I put a few swipes of Wink of Stella glitter pen to the tips of the yellow die cut.

STS18: Sending Hugs

Hi there.
Sharing a sympathy themed card I made for someone.
Used the sketch from Seize the Sketch #18.

I used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

Those little yellow centers are melted Perle beads.
Melted them for about +/- 25 minutes for 320 degrees on parchment paper.
Thanks to THIS post for the tips.
I had tried it at a higher temperature and failed.  Low and Slow!

Sympathy Card

Needed a sympathy card to send to an elder's family at church.
He passed away expectantly last week.
I was so blessed by his leadership of communion over the past several years.

Since I just cut into my MME Lost and Found paper I bought well over a year ago that I used for another challenge I decided to use it for this one (and another to be shared later).

Moxie Fab: Square Sketch Challenge

Needed an idea for a sympathy card for our neighbors.
The Mrs. lost her mother and I wanted to get a card out quickly.
I used the sketch from the Moxie Fab World blog without any alterations.
LOVE how the colored pencils look on kraft.  The colors are really nice LIVE.
I added distress ink to the edges.

square sketch challenge:

Supplies:
Hero Arts "Layered Flowers" and "Everyday Sayings", Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" (stitching)
Memento black ink, Distress ink in Faded Jeans and Broken China
Prismacolor pencils, brad from stash
