Moxie Fab Word Die Challenge

Having a blast in the craft room this week.
Saw that the Moxie Fab blog was having a "Wonderful Word Challenge
to use die cut words so I decided to play along.
Looks great in real life.

The Simon Says Stamp "you" was cut 3 times, layered, covered in Glossy Accents and then I sprinkled glittery black embossing powder on it.  (saw this on J. McGuire's blog)

The Light bulb stamp and sentiment are by Lawn Fawn.  It was a Studio Calico limited edition set that I won in a giveaway.  I covered the bulb in gloss before adhering it.

Supplies
Stamps & Journaling Panel: Lawn Fawn
Die Cut Word & yellow card stock: Simon Says Stamp
Patterned Paper: AC
Markers: Spectrum Noir

Thanks for visiting.
I look forward to browsing the entries and seeing different ways to use word dies.

A Hello Card for Lanie!

Bought this Lost and Found paper when it came out last year and
shoved it in my storage box.
Not sure why I bought it b/c it really doesn't go with anything I scrapbook and I ordered enough for a two page layout.  I have passed over this paper so many times over the past year trying to find the mojo to use it.

The current Lawnscaping Challenge is to dust something off and use it.
Well, I did it.
I pulled all the papers and decided that it WAS going to be used!
There's a couple stitches on this one too which is a rarity for me.

I came up with this little "hello" card that will be headed to Nikki Sivils who is doing a card drive for Lanie, her former employee who is battling cancer.

BOO-ing a Neighbor

Getting ready to BOO a neighbor!
Decorated a jar I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
Put candy inside and added a gift card for some pizza in the bag.
My other neighbor is getting a Halloween popcorn bucket I picked up at Michaels with microwave popcorn and seasonings.

Sending Love to Addison

Another card for sweet Addison
Click on her picture on my sidebar to join in on my card drive for her.
The family will be SO blessed by the cards!

This card feature Lawn Fawn's "You've Got Mail"
The hearts were made with a tiny heart stamp from my stash.

I colored the mailbox with Copics and paper pieced it on the card.
I was afraid to color directly on the card b/c of bleeding.
I ended up making the top panel three times.
One was stamped crooked and I smudged ink on the second.
I stamped and colored the envelope separately and cut a slit in the mailbox.

I am submitting this card into the following challenges:
CAS-Ual Fridays #74: Put You Heart Into It
Moxie Fab World: Hello/Thinking of You (for sweet Addison)

Thanks for looking.
Hope you will join the card drive for Addison!

Sharing a belated birthday card I made for my brother-in-law.
I was a week late, so I thought a special belated theme cards was in order.

I started with the sentiment and snail for a CAS look.
Then saw the Lawnscaping photo inspiration and thought I'd have

The background was created with distress inks.

Papers: LF "The Bright Side" and BG "Olivia", Bazzill cardstock
Inks: Memento black, Distress in Faded Jeans, Broken China, and Peeled Paint
Other" balloon punch, Fiskars grass punch, MM wire, Hemptique string, Prismacolor pencils
