Bunny Bouquet

 Welcome to the March release from The Rabbit Hole Designs!

Today I am sharing a card featuring their new stamp set "Bunny Bouquet" as well as their new ADORABLE papers "Spring Florals #1". I made two versions of this card, one in pink and the other purple.  

I started by stamping the image with my Misti.  I colored the image with copics and then cut it down to 4" wide and 3 15/16" . The Stripe panel ended up being 4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.  Honestly, I just trimmed until I was happy with the look.

Then, I adhered the pieces to the cardstock base.   I wrapped some twine around the card where the two sections meet and added a button.  Been a long time since I used a button!

Chirpy Chirp: Happy Easter

Sharing an Easter card I made last week.

Features Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and paper.

The chicks were colored with Copics and the egg was stamped with Memento.

Easter card w/ envelope

Happy Spring!

Sharing an Easter card I made to send to a couple people at church.

Features Basic Grey's "Olivia" paper and Lawn Fawn's bunny from "Critters in the Burbs". 

 The bunny was cut out of the patterned paper.

I added a dab of Stickles to the nose and Liquid Pearls to make a cute tail.  

Here's a matching envelope with the cut out bunny:

Simon Says Stamp: Use your favorite tool.  Mine is definitely my Cutter Bee scissors.  I just love to cut out my stamped images and paper piece.  My followers see this a LOT on my blog!

Bunny Cookies

 Happy Easter!

Used the meringue buttercream recipe from Karen's Cookies. 

The dough is a roll out by Pillsbury.

I plan to try Karen's sugar cookies dough next time since this dough spreads so much.

She has GREAT video tutorials on her website too.

This is my second time glazing using her technique. 

Just put a dollop of icing for the tail and added some non pariels.

OTWC #51: Easter Treat Bags

Hi there.  Today I am sharing my little treat bags I made for my Sunday School class.
I am entering this into Off the Wall Craftiness challenge #51: Easter.

I stamped the jar in black and then the jelly beans, doing a little masking.

I colored the jelly beans with Prismacolor Pencils and added Glossy Accents for shine.

There is also a bit of gloss on the jar.

The base toppers are 7" X 6".  Then the colored papers on top are 7" X 3". 

I like to add the colored paper on top of the BACK of the staples to protect hands from the staples.   

I actually made 20.

The poem is from the internet.  I put this part on the back:

A BAG FULL OF JELLY BEANS COLORFUL AND SWEET,

IS A PRAYER, IS A PROMISE, IS A SPECIAL TREAT
MAY THE JOY OF CHRIST'S RESURRECTION
FILL YOUR HEART AND BLESS YOUR LIFE.
