Coffee Lovers Winter 2018 Card Hop

Been a looong time since I have posted crafty work here.  Once school starts, I don't craft much.  I do share projects on my Instagram (@kelbertram) if you want to join me there.

I am sharing a card I designed for the Winter Coffee Lovers Card Hop.
These are gift card holders for the boys' teachers.
This stamp is fun to do an ombre' effect!

I stamped the lips and raised them with foam.
They are covered in Glossy Accents
I also stamped the wraps.

Thanks for stopping by,
Kelly

Coffee Lovers Hop: Summer Edition Card #3

Playing along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer Edition.  This is card #3.
I recently got the free "thanks" die from MFT with my last order.
I used the negative on my last post.
Here are the letters cut out of Lawn Fawn's plaid paper.

I prepped the back panel applying distress inks with a clarity brush
then flicked a couple other colors with the splatter brush.
Added with coffee bean (Fiskars) with Catherine Pooler ink.

first time using the die... cut the slots crooked.. oh well...

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Spring Edition

Joining the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop this Spring with this card that features several different companies.  The "Thanks" panel was taped on the sides and bottom so that I could slip a gift card in the top if I needed to.

It was on the left when I made it.  LOL Oh well, no time to retake the photo...
Ya'll feel me on this, right?  too funny....
Until next time, Kelly

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Gift Card Holder

Back with my second card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
I needed a gift card holder.
The recipient loves purple so I made the background
with a variety of distress inks spritzed with water.
I used my new Misti to stamp the sentiment several times
over the background.  LOVE my new toy!

I am also linking this card up to the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: The Holiday Edition Part 2

I am sharing my second card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
HERE is my first card for the hop, a pop-up card.

This one features a design from my Silhouette Cameo and Echo Park papers.

Check out Amy Tsuruta's blog for all the information on
how to join the fun and be eligible for some great prizes.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to create these cards.
I cut the tops in heavy weight paper.  The "sleeves" are made from Echo Park paper.

The top is attached when it is cut on the machine.  How cool!
Makes an easy shaped card.

I made a few designs.
Simple and Clean.
I will use these as gift card holders for the boys' teachers.

Thanks for visiting.
Enjoy your hopping,
Kelly

Poppy Sketch #16: Gift Card Holder

Back today with another card for the Poppy Sketch Challenge Blog.
We are using Cut Cardstock for our cards.

Here's my interpretation.
The base is Cut Cardstock. It has a bit of shimmer to it and it is VERY sturdy.
The patterned papers, die and stamps are all by Lawn Fawn.
I made a gift card holder by layering the LF "Stitched Journaling" die.

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn "Birthday Tags" and "Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum"
Die cut: Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Journaling" die
Patterned Papers: Lawn Fawn's "Dewey Decimal"
Cardstock: Cut Cardstock
Punch: Fiskars

Can't wait to see what you make,
Kelly

PS3: gift card holder w/ Lawn Fawn

Joined in the new Poppy Sketch challenge sponsored by lawn Fawn.
I pulled out my Lawn Fawn for this one!
When I saw the criss-cross lines on the sketch
I decided to use paper and make a pocket out of the design.
I need lots of gift card holders this spring and thought the sketch could go that direction.

Features papers and stamps by Lawn Fawn as well as their new grass die.
Those are my handmade "enamel dots" made out of Perle beads.

Please check out my Card Drive for Emma.
I have collected a little over 200 cards for this little girl battling cancer!
Drive goes until early July!

Poppy Sketch#1: gift card holders

 Hello.
Found a new sketch challenge and played along.
It is called Poppy Sketches. The sketch is below.

I decided to make this a gift card holder.
Of course I took the picture, loaded it and THEN realized I failed to tuck one in there when I took the pic.  It would tuck behind that glitter piece and the flowers.

I stamped the Hero Arts flowers, colored them with Copics, cut them out and layered them.
The papers are American Crafts.

I will use these for teachers at the end of the year.
The second one is for the school librarian, of course!

OK, this is the first one I made featuring Lawn Fawn's Dewey Decimal papers.
The gift card would tuck behind that punched line.
I made this one and THEN realized that there was a color palette to the challenge as well.
I am so with it....

Thanks for stopping by!
Love to have you join my Card Drive for Emma.
Prizes will be drawn at the end of July so there's plenty of time.
Maybe use the next Poppy Sketch for inspiration!  (:
