more for card drive: CAS cards with HA

Made a little set of three cards to send to my friend's daughters.
Little Addison is battling Leukemia and her sisters are battling right beside her.
The little ones are affected just as much, but in a different way.
One card will go to each girl.
Love to have you join my CARD DRIVE for her.
FABULOUS prizes too!

My CAS cards feature stamps by Hero Arts.
I stamped, colored and cut out the butterflies.
Then I stamped the image on the paper to get the antennae.
The cut out images were then glued on top.
The flight path was created with a Uniball pen.
The top lines were embossed on the MS scoreboard.

Modified them a bit with a Paper Smooches sentiment for some cards to
welcome new babies at church.  Lots of COPIC coloring fun!

I am entering these cards into the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft #215:   Pieced Off
A Blog Named Hero #14: Clean Up Your Act (CAS project)

Supplies:
Stamps by HA  Cling Butterflies and Everyday Sayings Stamp Set
Other: Copics, Neenah paper, Uniball pen, MS scoreboard, Stickles

Birthday Butterfly

Browsed through challenge blogs last night while watching the Olympics
and designed a card inspired by a few.

The design is inspired by The Craft's Meow August Sketch.
The watercolor background colors were inspired by the latest Runway challenge photo.
.
I chose the colors from the dress (on my phone the third color looked more pumice,
but on the computer looks more green, go figure...) and loved the movement of it so
I chose a butterfly to represent that movement.

For the background panel, I stamped Concord, Pumice and Spiced Marmalade inks onto my mat, sprayed it with water and perfect Pearls and inked up my white cardstock.
LOVE the look!
I embossed the butterfly on patterned paper and embossed the sentiment on cardstock.

L32, SSS, ABNH2: Pup in the Window

Hi there.
Had a great time over spring break.
The boys were at grandparents' houses for 3 of the days so I had fun too!  Went scrappy shopping with my Mom and SIL one day and golfed, scrapped and landscaped the others.

Sharing a card I made inspired by a couple of challenges.

The patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn's The Bright Side collection.
I stamped some kraft paper with Hero Arts Envelope Pattern for the back panel.
The window was made with the LF paper.
It was actually a journaling square from one of the sheets.
I carefully cut it out and added acetate I received from Karen Baker.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the puppy and the HA typewriter.

I stamped the flowers on different patterns from the collection.
The teal flowers are stamped on the bottom label of one of the papers.
There's some cute patterns "hidden" there.
The stems are hand drawn.

I used a Fiskars punch to make the grass.

Showing the window:

Dimension added to the window:

This shows the journaling square I turned into a window:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
A Blog Named Hero #2: Cards With a View
Lawnscaping #32: Stamp a Scene!
Simon Says Stamp: April showers bring spring FLOWERS

eta:  My thought was that the dog was taking a break from typing a letter to look out the window at the flowers so the typewriter has a purpose and not randomly placed there, KWIM? The only people stamps I have are playing in snow.  I like the critters doing human things...
