Christmas Card: Gifts

Got some happy mail yesterday from Brandi of the "Yankee Belle Stamper"
I won a stamp set from her giveaway last week!
I received it yesterday along with some other generous goodies!
My little guy wanted to play in the tub so I decided to play across the hall in my room!

The gifts were stamped on Copic paper and cut out.
I stamped the ribbons from the set for all but 2.
Those 2 were stamped on paper and cut out:

Birthday Butterfly

Browsed through challenge blogs last night while watching the Olympics
and designed a card inspired by a few.

The design is inspired by The Craft's Meow August Sketch.
The watercolor background colors were inspired by the latest Runway challenge photo.
.
I chose the colors from the dress (on my phone the third color looked more pumice,
but on the computer looks more green, go figure...) and loved the movement of it so
I chose a butterfly to represent that movement.

For the background panel, I stamped Concord, Pumice and Spiced Marmalade inks onto my mat, sprayed it with water and perfect Pearls and inked up my white cardstock.
LOVE the look!
I embossed the butterfly on patterned paper and embossed the sentiment on cardstock.

Red, white and blue thank you card

Created this "Thank You" card with a couple challenges in mind.
and the design was inspired by the Craft's Meow July Sketch.
This is my third entry for this sketch challenge.  It is such a great sketch!

The flowers were carefully paper pieced.
I kept the leaves white to follow the color scheme and allow the flowers to shine.

SSS & CFC46: I'm here...

Sharing a Clean and Simple card today inspired by the song,
"How Much is that Doggie in the Window?"

I stamped and colored the pup and cut him out.
This was pup #2.
The first one was too dark for the card, so he's on reserve for another card.
The lighter dog worked better here.

I cut out the window and created the frame using the Wonky Rectangle Spellbinders die.
I used an acetate sheet for the "window".
Karen Baker  used acetate on one of her cards and I loved it.
She was so kind to send some to me to play with.

This was intended as a birthday card, but as I looked at the puppy, I thought this little sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "On the Mend" set was just too prefect....

Trying to show the acetate sheet on top of the dog....
It looks REALLY cool in person!

Supplies:
Papers: Hobby Lobby
Stamps: Lawn Fawn

BG63, SSS, L28: masculine birthday card

Been doing a lot of scrapbooking, but took a break to make a card  for
one of many birthdays to come in our family.
I decided to make one a little on the masculine side and used
Basic Grey's "Oxford" papers with a splash of "Granola".

I distressed the edges of the star panel and used two distress inks to color the "hi".
I love how it turned out.  Really matches!

The pup was stamped on the same paper as the back panel,
but I pounced him a little with Vintage Photo.
Gave the card a little mist of perfect pearls/water.
There's a metallic gem for the collar and a dot of shiny dimensional paint on his nose.

Supplies:
Papers: BG "Oxford" and "Granola"
Stamps: Lawn Fawn "Critters in the Burbs" and "Quinn's ABCs"
Ink: Memento black, Distress in Barn Door and Fired Brick, Vintage Photo
Other: Spellbinders Wonky rectangles, Sizzix star, Hemptique hemp cord, Perfect Pearls, TH edge distressor, gem, shiny fabric paint, Cuttlebug star

I am submitting card into the following challenges:
Basic Grey #63: Wish Upon a Star
Lawnscaping #28: Distress Mania
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

Can you see my "watermark"?
I have fiddled and fiddled and fiddled and FINALLY figured out how to do it!
Just needs to be bigger...

I can do ALL things...

Hi there.
Sharing a card I made for a set.
It features an inspiration stamp by Verve and
paper from Basic Grey's "Life of the Party" 6x6 pad.

I sat and just stared at the "ruler" sheet and had that stamp on my desk.
I kept looking back and forth and it came to me... His power is immeasurable.
I cut the ruler sheet from the pad into strips and "wrapped" it to look like those fabric tapes.

Stamps: Verve Plain Janes
Ink: Distress Barn Door
Stickers: Cosmo Cricket Tiny Types
Other: Spellbinder Nestabilities wonky rectangles

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: 3 different patterned papers (all 3 from BG pad)

and the drum and sentiments are from Lawn Fawn's "Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum".
The cute twine is from The Twinery.

The red panel was made with Spellbinder Wonky Rectangles:
