Sending Prayers

Great, but busy start to the new school year.
Sharing some cards I made as sympathy cards and thinking of you cards.
Some cards are generational stamping and some are two color of ink.

That teal one was my favorite, but I didn't get an individual picture of it.

Thanks for stopping by!

CTS#89: Wishing You Comfort

Howdy.
Had some time yesterday to play along with the new CAS(E) this Sketch.
I decided to use my CAS-ual Fridays Fri-dies "Casual Comfort" as
well as the coordinating stamp sentiment.

The background is punchinella by Neat and Tangled.
I put a few swipes of Wink of Stella glitter pen to the tips of the yellow die cut.

CFC#133: (hashtag)cards

Had fun playing along with the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
If you watch Jimmy Fallon, then you would know about his #hashtag games.
I think they are hysterical and made cards inspired by the game.
The # was cut on the Cameo.   #AwesomeCraftingTool

Challenge 133 was to use hearts in summer colors.
I was digging through my stash and found the adorable rainbow washi tape. I originally bought it because it reminded me of 1984...
#RainbowSweaters, #RainbowShoeLaces and my most favorite #RainbowHeadband.
those were great summers back in the 80's.

The stamp is from CAS-ual Fridays "Shenanigans" set.

Tape inspired by ink smudge... hee hee

OK, so here is the first card I made and then I
realized that it was supposed to have hearts...
Both have the same inside.

You Light Up My Life

Had a few minutes this morning and wanted to play with the new Lawn Fawn stamps made for Studio Calico that I won from the LF blog a few weeks ago.
I decided to make a birthday card for my husband's upcoming birthday in June.
I used leftover papers from my Echo Park "Little Boy" collection.
DSC04810

I used the sketch from CAS(E) #28 for the design.
I replicated the dots on the sketch by using two different sized gems stones.
I added Glossy Accents on the bulb and black enamel on the bottom and rays.

I am also entering this card in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge 101: Stamping on designer paper. The light bulb was stamped on the EP paper.

CD10 and CFC86: follow your dreams...

Hi everyone.
I am still around.
I am taking a graduate class this spring and that is keeping me very busy.
The boys are both playing basketball too and I am coaching one of the teams.

I will be announcing winners for the Card Drive for Addison soon.
Just waiting to hear back from some sponsors to coordinate the prizes.
I am sure CHA has them very busy still.
In the meantime, I needed a birthday card for a little girl
so I used the 10 minute craft dash  for the colors to get the juices flowing.
The long card is inspired by the current CAS-ual Friday challenge #86: long and short.

This card took 9:30:9
Most of the time was spent coloring.
I knocked over the trash can  lunging across the room to grab a pink gem.
I wonder what comedic acts are performed in the making of other people's cards...

Added Glossy Accents to the bike.

Snowman Gift Bag

I needed to decorate a bag for a gift so I decided to set the timer and play along
with the Ten Minute Craft Dash and CAS-ual Fridays #83.

I precut the paper and started the timer.
I stamped the snowman and colored parts with Copics and adhered it to the bag.
I added the flocking to the hat and scarf and shiny fabric paint on the eyes
A dab of Stickles on the snow gives added some fun!

This project took 9:02.
I ended up cutting the talk bubble twice b/c I smudged the first one
so that added a but more time to this quick project.

Sending Love to Addison

Another card for sweet Addison
Click on her picture on my sidebar to join in on my card drive for her.
The family will be SO blessed by the cards!

This card feature Lawn Fawn's "You've Got Mail"
The hearts were made with a tiny heart stamp from my stash.

I colored the mailbox with Copics and paper pieced it on the card.
I was afraid to color directly on the card b/c of bleeding.
I ended up making the top panel three times.
One was stamped crooked and I smudged ink on the second.
I stamped and colored the envelope separately and cut a slit in the mailbox.

I am submitting this card into the following challenges:
CAS-Ual Fridays #74: Put You Heart Into It
Moxie Fab World: Hello/Thinking of You (for sweet Addison)

Thanks for looking.
Hope you will join the card drive for Addison!
