Used K and Company's Spooktacular collection for the papers and border strips.
Stamped "BOO" in the background with Spiced Marmalade Distress ink
using Lawn Fawn's "Heebie Jeebies"

I used 3 different border strips from the pack and
raised the trick-or treater strip with dimensional foam.

We've been to a Halloween party and trunk-or-treat at our church.
We have parties coming up at school and trick or treat night in the
neighborhood is quickly approaching.
We'll also be attending a friend's 5th birthday party this week.
I am sharing the card I made for him.

Hard to see, but there's Glossy Accents on all the gray paper pieces:

Kitty Cupcakes... MEOW...

Made some cupcakes for the kids in our Bible study group.
Thought they looked fun.

Not too hard...

I used:
chocolate icing
eyeball candies
chocolate bars cut into small triangles for ears
pull and peel licorice for whiskers
ready-made icing for nose and mouth

Heard that a lot of kitties mysteriously lost their ears BEFORE snack time... hmmmmm

They were inspired by Bakerella's website.
Here's Bakerella's  version.  The kitty is also in the middle of this photo:

You may also enjoy my green monster cupcakes from last April shown HERE.

What yummy fall/Halloween treats have you made or plan to make?
Have a great day!

CCC79, PV and CC164: Fall Treat bags

Sharing some treat bags I am making for my 3 year olds at church.
I found the poem on the Internet and changed a few words for their age level.

I'll write their name on that line beside the pumpkin.
so it will read "May God's light shine in _____".

The pumpkin was stamped in orange and brown and pieced together.  I used the tree leaf in the set to make a leaf for the pumpkin... little creative license, ha ha

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

CI132 and SSS: Halloween card

Sharing a Halloween card using K and Company's Spooktacular stack.
I distressed the edges of the purple mat for some texture.

I cut out the sentiment and spider out of extra paper and raised them with dimensional foam.
I added google eyes to Mr. Spider.

Such a cute variety of monsters in the stack of papers and the border strips.
Inspired by the Cupcake Inspiration challenge blog photo to mix and match them!

The background was stamped with HA "Magical Background"
Clouds by Lawn Fawn stamped and cut out.

Added liquid pearls to the ghosts.

MOJO209, LFWCD, SSS, WM70: thank you

Hi There!
Sharing a card inspired by the Lawn Fawn Blog.
Kelly Marie challenged readers to make AND send a thank you card this week.
This card will be going to one of our many wonderful substitute teachers in our preschool department at church to thank her for her service!

The banner and center flower are raised with a lower/smaller pop dot
and the "thank you" circle is popped with a higher/bigger one.
I am using dimensional foam on about everything right now.  Love it!

Happy Card Day!

I am not able to make any cards today, but I did help my son decorate an old plastic fireman's hat for his Crazy Hat Day coming up on Monday at school.
The design was totally his!

My little Sony Cybershot died last week.
I went shopping and came home with a Sony a55 DSLR and I am LOVING it.
I am finally able to capture some sports moments.

I practiced on the dog for several days.
She got a new haircut last week.  We had never shaved her before.
I laughed for two days every time I looked at her, but I am getting used to it now.
The groomer had to go shorter than planned to even her out b/c she was matted.
SO much less hair in the house!!

After shot with new camera:

Hope you are gettin' crafty today!
Now that my new camera is up and running, I'll have lots of Halloween cards to share soon!
