ker-SPLAT: gift bags

After reading through a couple of challenges,
I decided to take on a couple as well as try TWO new things!
This is the first time I have used washi tape (LOVE IT!!)
as well as my first time attempting a splatter.

I don't have any mists, so I took a little Making Memories paint and
stirred in a generous amount of water and then went OUTSIDE!

I practiced the splatter on some paper and then flicked away at the bags.
I am really happy with the results.  Really fun to try a new technique.

I stamped the daisy image, and then paper pieced and popped them.

These will be gift bags for my boys' main teachers.
I think they will pick out plants to put in them.

These have a mix of yellow and orange Stickles in the centers of the flowers:

This one was made in the elementary school colors:

I added shiny fabric paint to the centers:

I am submitting this project into the following challenges:
Paper and Such: May flowers

Supplies:
Stamps: Daisies by Paper and Such, "thank you" by Lawn Fawn
Ink: Memento
Others: MM paint, Prismacolor pencils, washi by K& CO and Bella Blvd

Thanks for looking,
Kelly
