Christmas Card: Gifts

Got some happy mail yesterday from Brandi of the "Yankee Belle Stamper"
I won a stamp set from her giveaway last week!
I received it yesterday along with some other generous goodies!
My little guy wanted to play in the tub so I decided to play across the hall in my room!

The gifts were stamped on Copic paper and cut out.
I stamped the ribbons from the set for all but 2.
Those 2 were stamped on paper and cut out:

Card Drive Update and Card

Less than a month to go for my Card Drive for Addison.
I have received over 180 cards from so many places including Australia, India, Canada, Michigan, Kansas, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia, Oklahoma, Maryland, Washington, California, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Wisconsin and more!!!!!

I am so touched by the response and I know the family will be too.
They really had a rough Thanksgiving week that included a day in the hospital, treatments, and a round of strep throat complete with all three girls vomiting at some point.
I have known mom for over 15 years and I know that she is one tough cookie, but everyone has a breaking point no matter how tough you are.

In addition to cards, they need our prayers for healing, strength, rest, comfort and moments of relief. Other ways to help is to donate to the Leukemia Society or donate blood to a blood bank near you.  There are so many people in little Addison's situation who can benefit from your gift of blood in your local community.

Here's a card headed their way soon:

It was inspired by my hat after I ran the Color Run 5K where
they threw colored powder at you at various stations during the race.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn "Harolds ABCs" and "Say Cheese",
Craft's Meow "Typically Teen",  Paper Smooches
Inks; SU! and Distress
Other:  Spellbinder Wonky Rectangles Die

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

My next 5K is December 8th!
Love to have join the Card Drive for Addison.
Runs until December 20 and there are GREAT prizes!

Craft Dash #7: Simply Delightful

Sharing a card I made for the 10 minute Craft Dash #7
Features "Simply Delightful" and Typically Teen" by the Craft's Meow.
Thought I'd play with the crushed ribbon and make a large bow.
Not my usual style (thick to mail), but happy with the result.

The card took 7 minutes and 32 seconds to create.
All the stamps and inks were ready to go.
That bow took most of it, hee hee!

I am also entering this into Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge.

Still time to join the Card Drive for Addison!

RCC74: Fall Spirit

Been an eventful week.
Cleaning for Thanksgiving.  Bought a new vehicle. Got my card drive all caught up (until I check the mail today).  Boys' wish lists are sent out to the family.  Lights are up outside (tragically a few didn't make it this year.... sniff...sniff may they rest in peace). Front yard is leaf free for the moment.  Cleaned the other vehicle top to bottom.  Older son diagnosed with strep on Sat morning.... yadda yadda yadda.

Here's a fall card I made.
No idea who made the tree stamp.
I covered it with some red ink and added brown marker to the trunk.
I added 3 different colors of Stickles to enhance to leaves.

52CCT and Craft's Meow sketch equals....

...another Christmas card!!!!!
 I really like this one!
you know what I mean... some barely come off the bat and others go over the fence...
The crowd roars...
This one was inspired by color of the 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown
and the sketch from The Craft's Meow November Sketch.

I stamped and colored the reindeer with Copics and paper pieced the tree.
The back white panel was stamped with snowflakes using Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

The deer was raised with dimensional foam:

10 minute dash #6

Had a few minutes the other day before picking up the little one from kindergarten so I decided to do the 10 minute craft dash challenge.
This card took 9:48.
I had everything set out and collected and the panels cut so the
time was mainly spent coloring!

The balloon and hat were colored and cut out while the frog
was stamped and colored directly on the paper.
Could not get his cheeks to blend more so he has a big blush!
Must be visiting a girl frog, hee hee

Stamps: Purple Onion
Polka Pot panel: MME
Other: Copics, Glossy Accents (balloon), Peeled Paint Distress

Thanks for looking.
Please consider joining my Card Drive for Addison.
Ends 12/20.  AWESOME prizes!

Sympathy Card

Needed a sympathy card to send to an elder's family at church.
He passed away expectantly last week.
I was so blessed by his leadership of communion over the past several years.

Since I just cut into my MME Lost and Found paper I bought well over a year ago that I used for another challenge I decided to use it for this one (and another to be shared later).

I am submitting this card into the
Simon Says Stamp: Thinking of You/Sympathy challenge.

Stamps: Verve
Papers:  MME
Other: Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Hemptique String,
EK dimensional foam, MS butterfly punch

A Hello Card for Lanie!

Bought this Lost and Found paper when it came out last year and
shoved it in my storage box.
Not sure why I bought it b/c it really doesn't go with anything I scrapbook and I ordered enough for a two page layout.  I have passed over this paper so many times over the past year trying to find the mojo to use it.

The current Lawnscaping Challenge is to dust something off and use it.
Well, I did it.
I pulled all the papers and decided that it WAS going to be used!
There's a couple stitches on this one too which is a rarity for me.

I came up with this little "hello" card that will be headed to Nikki Sivils who is doing a card drive for Lanie, her former employee who is battling cancer.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs" and "You've Got Mail"
Papers:  MME
Burlap Ribbon

I am also submitting this unto the Simon Says Stamp: Thinking Of You Challenge
B/c I am thinking of this woman and I hope this card will bring her joy and the Moxie Fab World Canvas, Cork and Burlap Challenge.

Please consider joining this card drive and even the one I am hosting too
called a Card Drive for Addison, my friend's little girl who was diagnosed
with Leukemia at the end of September. Great prizes!

Back again with another Christmas card.
The tree stamp is by Deasy Designs and the papers are MME's "Merry"
I love this paper so much I bought another pad... lucky you, eh?
are ya tired of seeing it yet?

I used the sketch from the 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown for the design.
Love the little gift image in this stamp set.  Way cute!

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Entry

 The Sketch:
Still need about 40 more cards..

multiples or mass producing a masterpiece!
Got some Copic X Blending papers arriving any day now.
I have been cutting out the tree b/c my Copics were bleeding so hopefully next week you'll see some coloring and different designs with this set.
Wanna play with the reindeer and Copics!
