Hotwheel Birthday Invites

Zzoooooooooooooooooom!
hi there.
Sharing a few projects for our youngest son's 4th birthday party.
When he said he wanted a Hotwheel party I thought it'd be great to find Valentines to cut up... then not only did we find them but they were clearanced to .19 for the box!  score!
I cut the cars out and added the flag-like papers.
The flames were stamped, cut out and glittered.

Super Easy.
Thanks for looking!

Just a Note

Hello.
Here's a quick little card I designed for my card class at
church composed of 1st through 3rd graders.

The thumb tack was cut out of extra paper, smeared with
Glossy Accents and adhered with a pop dot.
I made my own notebook paper with cardstock and the oh-so-cute EK binding edge punch.
I made my own sentiment with Lawn Fawn's "Harold's ABCs"

I am submitting this to the Wee Memories Challenge #49 "Anything Goes" this week.

other supplies:
Papers are from  American Crafts "Everyday" line
ink is Memento
Stamps: Lawns Fawn's "Harold's ABC"

Butterfly Set

Hi.
Back from a wonderful week in sunny Florida.
Great family time.  Boys' first airplane ride and trip to the beach.
What a hoot seeing their reactions to new things!
Today I am sharing a card set I made for someone.
She wanted a gift to take to a female missionary in Mexico.
She liked the card I made HERE so I decided to make a set of 5.
There is no sentiment so they could be used for English or Spanish.
The butterflies were stamped and colored with Prismacolor pencils.
I LOVE how the colors pop on Kraft paper.
I added some glitter glue to the butterflies' bodies and in the swirls.

Here's what the inside looks like:

I made a box and stamped and colored it to coordinate the cards:

The box pattern and instructions can be found HERE
It starts right away, so it can make you jump if your volume is high.
I have used this video several times and it always turns out cute!

Supplies:
Stamps: butterfly by Stampin Up, Flourishes from ?
Ink: Memento
Paper: cardstock
Other: various glitter glues, colored pencils and mineral spirits, UTUBE video by jacque1263

Wee Memories/SSS: green b-day!

Hello.
This card was inspired by two challenges.
The greens came from the Wee Memories #47 "green" theme.
The theme is from the Simon Says Stamp birthday challenge
I dug through my scraps (very green of me) and found several bits and pieces of papers.
I stamped the flower image on 3 different patterns and added a pearl.

Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn!

I am doing a whole separate post to wish LAWN FAWN a happy 1st birthday!  Last fall I was searching for a letter stamp set and in doing so, found the Lawn Fawn stamp company.  I purchased Harold's ABC's, used them on a few projects and emailed the project to Kelly Marie.  Well, she asked if I had a blog and offered to link me up... um, no I did not have a blog... she then encouraged me to create one and gave suggestions on how to start.  Well, after a few days playing around I had made this blog.  In doing so, I was able to share a card here and there and then I discovered the various challenges from a variety of sites and companies and I have to say, it totally elevated my card making skills.  The recipients of my cards seem so appreciative of the time and love that goes into each one and I wanted to personally THANK Kelly Marie for all her encouragement.

Happy Birthday to Lawn Fawn.  It's a great company offering clear stamps made in the USA.  They stamp so cleanly and so crisply.  I just love them.  In celebration of the the fawn's b-day, I decided to go back and share some of my favorite cards with the LF stamps I currently own.  Hugs to you, Kelly Marie and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Sets used:  Harold's ABC, Bannerific, Heebie Jeebies,
Frosties, Winter Bunny

SSS: Anything Goes

Hi.
This week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is "Anything Goes" so
I am sharing  a card I made for the last Paper Crafts call.
I figure since it got rejected there it can have a new life in the challenge, ha ha
Looks much cuter live.  It makes much more sense when you see the sketch.
It was based on Sketch #68 so when you get your copy of the magazine,
you can see my interpretation!

Here's the back of the front panel.  What a mess!

Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts: "Everyday Sayings" and "Friendship Definition"
Ink: Memento black and SU Pretty in pink
Other: Twine from The Twinery and gems brads by MM, white acrylic paint.

Have a great day!

Limelight #68: bday card

Hello.
Here's a birthday card made from Basic Grey's "Cupcake" collection.
The design is inspired by Limelight Papercrafts Sketch challenge which also requested pearls.
Dug out the paper crimper to make the cupcake "wrapper".
I cut the "icing" out of the BG sprinkle paper by hand and added Stickles.

Here's the Sketch.
I replaced the large butterfly with the cupcake and the smaller ones with the balloons.

Supplies:
Paper: Basic Grey "Cupcake"
Misc: Balloon punch, floss, Stickles, ribbon, pearls, paper crimper, MS circle cutter
