Moxie Fab: Square Sketch Challenge

Needed an idea for a sympathy card for our neighbors.
The Mrs. lost her mother and I wanted to get a card out quickly.
I used the sketch from the Moxie Fab World blog without any alterations.
LOVE how the colored pencils look on kraft.  The colors are really nice LIVE.
I added distress ink to the edges.

square sketch challenge:

Supplies:
Hero Arts "Layered Flowers" and "Everyday Sayings", Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" (stitching)
Memento black ink, Distress ink in Faded Jeans and Broken China
Prismacolor pencils, brad from stash

Thanks for looking,
Kelly

Kelly, Stunning Card! Love your colors on the kraft, the blue just pops! Let's see, to answer some questions... I DO remember those little wax bottles, I tried them just the other week with my kiddos and hmmm, for some reason it just wasn't the same. And if you are interested, try transparency sheets at your local supply store, it is the same as acetate, maybe a bit thinner. The clear stuff around kids toys packaging works really well too!

This card is perfect, and I love the coloring on the Kraft card stock. I'm sure they will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Gorgeous and comforting. Not a classic sympathy card but I love the non traditional colors. It will comfort her. How thoughtful of you!
