Hello!
Today's card was inspired by Limelight Papercraft's challenge 62 this week.
The challenge is to use the sketch below with some SPARKLE! I decided to make a card for my brother's birthday. He's a New Years Eve baby! I added glitter to the polka dot patterned paper used for the star and the inside balloon cut from the paper.
A touch of glitz, but still manly!
Thanks for looking! -Kelly
Supplies:
Paper: Me and My Big Ideas "Traveler"
Ink: Distress in Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo
Other: Twine by The Twinery, 1" circle punch, Cricut George (star and 2" circle), chipboard circle, diamond Stickles, generic orange glitter glue

This is a terrific entry for the challenge. I love how you used the baker's twine from The Twinery...make sure you stop by our blog and see the features from the DT there and we hope you will share your project on The Twiney's Flickr group!
Just stopping by from Becky Higgins' blog...love your card, it's very cute!
Love that star and love that stitching, baker's twine gives such a neat effect when done up like that.
Thanks for letting me know and your sweet comments. Congratulations to you too. Lovely blog you have there and this card is pretty too with the Twine.
I am always struggling with masculine cards but this one is perfect! I love it; the inside is just as gorgeous as the outside!
Fabulous, Kelly! Love the use of the twine!!
Awesome card, Kelly! Bright and cheery -- but still manly! I love how you added the balloon to the inside of the card, too -- what a great detail! :o)
