wee Memories Challenge #32/ Wine Tag

Happy Thanksgiving week!  I saw the wee Memories Challenge #32 this week was to use a little dab of PINK, so I decided to whip up a wine tag.  I have made a wine tag before seen HERE in my Two Peas in a Bucket gallery, but had ideas to make it extra special.
This bottle of wine will go to our aunt this year for Christmas.

The tag is cut 3" X 81/2" and scored at 2".  I used a 1 1/2" circle punch for the hole.  I featured Lawn Fawn's "Winter Bunny" stamped, colored and cut out.  I stamped him again on pink and cut out the scarf to piece on top and put on a little pink glitter glue.  I added liquid pearls to his tail.  The "Happy Winter" and snowflakes used on this project are from Lawn Fawn's "Frosties" set.  I stamped the snowflakes with embossing ink and used clear embossing powder then added some gems for pop.  I also added white flocking powder to the ripped edges of white for the snow.

One of the things that bothered me about my old design was the wine label showing so this time I covered it with paper cut at 5"x 10" and stamped it with Versamark and added gems with Glossy Accents.  This hides the wine label and helps my tag POP!  Using the Glossy Accents should keep those gems in place despite the handling.

I am also submitting this tag to the Simon Says Stamp challenge called "Let it Snow"!!! and the Paper Variety Challenge #11 called "Gift Wrapping".

Supplies:
Stamps:  Frosties and Winter Bunny by Lawn Fawn
Inks:  Memento, Top Emboss, Versamark
Papers: stripe is K&Co. AB Lotus Pad and rest is from stash
Other: glitter glue, white flocking powder, gems, liquid pearls, glossy accents, ribbon, rick rack

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a GREAT week and BLESSED Thanksgiving day!

Giveaway at Iheartart

Hi there.  I am sharing info about a giveaway at Iheartart paper and ink.  Tiffany Johnson is on her way across country with her family and is featuring guest bloggers this week.  How Fun!  AND, she is giving away a $100 gift certificate to Two Peas in  Bucket.  Come check it out HERE.  Guest blogger Nicole Maki shared these adorable bags.  I may try something like this for DH's coworkers for the holidays and put buckeyes in them.

House is still a mess.  BIL is coming this morning to install new utility tub for us.  Old one had a crack.  I have 6 loads (minimum) of laundry to start as soon as that is done.  That pipe is connected to the washer somehow and the drainage... can't explain it.  DH and I tried a load of laundry the other day and got water on the new floor!  YIKES!  Oh, and the dishwasher is leaking too.  BIL is going to check that out and see if it is repairable.  May end up with a new dishwasher too.... so many projects... Have a great day -Kelly

Cards for Kids Drive

Hello.  Not much crafting here this week as we are having some flooring installed by DH and BIL and the house is a wreck.  I thought I'd share a few cards I made a few weeks ago for the Cards for Kids Drive this month.  The cards are due by November 30.  Jennifer McGuire has led this drive for about a year now calling for cards for ill children and their families.

Here's one:

I found the dimensional sticker set of animals on clearance at Hobby Lobby.
The blue is embossed with the Cuttlebug using the Spots-n-Dots folder.
The sentiment is stamped with Harold's ABCs by Lawn Fawn
The "hello" was cut on the Cricut with Storybook.

Thanks for stopping by today!  -Kelly

You Are a Blessing

You are a Blessing.
Those are powerful words as it means that you have touched someone's life in a special way.  Since I had the lunch bags out from THIS project, I decided to get a head start on some teacher treats for Thanksgiving.  I hadn't planned on giving them something, but half-off Hersey kisses and the lunch bags gave me the inspiration.  And then came the sentiment... I saw it on a Lawn Fawn set and it's been in my mind ever since.  Just such a nice thing to say so I stamped it out with another Lawn Fawn alpha set.  I stamped the leaves and colored them with 4 different watercolor pencils and then blended them with a blender pen.  It is hard to see but one of the leaves on the card and the envelope have glitter on them and the middle one on the card is popped with dimensional foam.  I made three sets (bag, card and envelope) as teacher gifts.

This project has been submitted to the following challenges:
wee Memories Challenge #29:  Free for All sponsored by Simon Says Stamp
Cupcake Craft Challenge 115: Thank you with autumnal colors sponsored by Some Odd Girl and Simon Says Stamp
Tuesday Throwdown #24: theme of thanks sponsored by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Bunny Zoe's Crafts #5:  Autumnal Love sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn "Harold's ABCs", Stampin' Up leaf, swirl
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, versamark
Coloring:  watercolor pencils and blending pen
Other: Corner Chomper, glitter

Have a great day and may you be BLESSED today!  -Kelly
