PS4: Dream

This was a tough challenge for me because these are not colors I use very much.  After digging through my entire paper and ink stash I realized that I had Copic markers that were close. I used them to customize white cardstock.
The picture looks for blue than it is in real life.

Lots of Lawn Fawn used here (stamps, paper, dies)
I die cut the side strips with white paper and colored them with the Copics .

Supplies
Pattnered paper: Lawn Fawn
Stamps: Lawn Fawn "dream" and "bannerific"
Dies: Lawn Fawn borders
Other: twine, Copics, homemade enamel dots, sequins, Stickles

PS3: gift card holder w/ Lawn Fawn

Joined in the new Poppy Sketch challenge sponsored by lawn Fawn.
I pulled out my Lawn Fawn for this one!
When I saw the criss-cross lines on the sketch
I decided to use paper and make a pocket out of the design.
I need lots of gift card holders this spring and thought the sketch could go that direction.

Features papers and stamps by Lawn Fawn as well as their new grass die.
Those are my handmade "enamel dots" made out of Perle beads.

I have collected a little over 200 cards for this little girl battling cancer!
Drive goes until early July!

STS18: Sending Hugs

Hi there.
Sharing a sympathy themed card I made for someone.
Used the sketch from Seize the Sketch #18.

I used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

Those little yellow centers are melted Perle beads.
Melted them for about +/- 25 minutes for 320 degrees on parchment paper.
Thanks to THIS post for the tips.
I had tried it at a higher temperature and failed.  Low and Slow!

STS17: Birthday Card

Sharing a card I made for my nephew's upcoming birthday.
I am featuring stamps by Purple Onion.
I won these cuties last week from the blog.

I stamped the large noteblock in red and gray to paper piece a bit.
I stamped the wee cupcake, colored it with markers and cut it out.
I added a bit of string for the cherry stem, plus some Stickles and Glossy Accents.

I used the sketch from Seize the Sketch design #17.

The papers are by Simple Stories.

Poppy Sketch#1: gift card holders

 Hello.
Found a new sketch challenge and played along.
It is called Poppy Sketches. The sketch is below.

I decided to make this a gift card holder.
Of course I took the picture, loaded it and THEN realized I failed to tuck one in there when I took the pic.  It would tuck behind that glitter piece and the flowers.

I stamped the Hero Arts flowers, colored them with Copics, cut them out and layered them.
The papers are American Crafts.

I will use these for teachers at the end of the year.
The second one is for the school librarian, of course!

OK, this is the first one I made featuring Lawn Fawn's Dewey Decimal papers.
The gift card would tuck behind that punched line.
I made this one and THEN realized that there was a color palette to the challenge as well.
I am so with it....
