Strike up the fun: Bowling Party!

Sharing the goodies I made for our son's 5th birthday party with a bowling theme.

Here is the invite.
Most supplies from Hobby Lobby.
I put the stickers on white cardstock and cut them out to give a little dimension.

Here are the cupcakes we gave out at the bowling alley and the school party.
I ordered the candy mold on Amazon.
The red "stripe" on the pin was put on with a brush.

Here's the cake for the family party.
The sports ball cake pan is by Wilton.
I used the template HERE for the pin, enlarged, and traced it
with black icing before filling it in with the stars.
Forgot to cover the board... was a little messy the next day...
Please ignore the remote control mark on the blue icing in the upper right...
I was trying to catch the news about Peyton Manning and went to put the remote down..
OOPS... shhhhhhhhhhhh squished stars...

Next up, the goody bags.
Stickers are from Hobby Lobby.
Easy-peasy
They were torn up before leaving the bowling alley.
The lizards were a huge hit with everyone.

I made T-shirts for the kids with Wilton easy image Transfers from Michael's.
Same pin image from Family Fun was printed & cut out by hand.
I just typed the names and cut them out with a paper trimmer.
We had an even number of boys and girls so I used red for the girls and blue for the boys.

Can't believe our "baby" is 5.
He is kind, sweet, smart, funny, silly, sporty and ornery.
A classic boy.

SI #313: campout Night #1

Hello.
I used the sketch from Sketchbook Inspiration for two layouts.
This one features My Mind's Eye "Lil Robots".

Our boys LOVE to camp in one of the room's EVERY Friday night.
Sometimes they are in one of their rooms, sometimes we camp as a family on the main floor, and occasionally they camp on our floor.   They LOVE it!
A memory worth preserving!

Here's the sketch:

I am also entering this LO into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge this week.

L30: reverse stamping

The newest Lawnscaping challenge #30 is to make a card by a fellow crafter.

Ever since Chari Moss shared her reverse stamping technique,
I have wanted to try it so I gave it a whirl.

The card Lawn Fawn's  "Fly Free" and "Bon Voyage" sets.
I stamped the background with my Hero Arts "Envelope Pattern" stamp and misted it with Perfect Pearls/Water (hard to see).

The yellow bird is popped and pulling a chipboard banner by Jenni Bowlin.

Here's a card by Chari showing the technique:

Supplies:
Stamps by Lawn Fawn
Papers by Echo Park "Country Drive"

Thanks to Chari Moss for the wonderful tutorial and inspirational designs!

SSS: Pickup Pup!

Growing up out in the "country" we would often see a dog in the back of a pickup truck.
When I saw the truck sticker in the  Echo Park "Country Drive" collection,
I just knew it needed a pup!

Enter my Lawn Fawn puppy!
The tree line was cut out of one of the papers.

I added a little flocking to his muzzle:
