OCC Day 4: Die cutting

Hey there!
I am sharing a couple cards from Day 4's cutting technique
in the Online Card Class.
You die cut an image creating a window on one card and then use the die cut for the second card.

Here's my take featuring three Caffeinated Critters
from The Rabbit Hole Designs

I used colored pencils for the inside so it would not bleed on the paper:

The second card with the initial die cut:

OCC Day 5: Watercoloring

Hi there!
Sharing a couple of cards I made for the Online Card Classes Day 5 challenge.
This card features watercoloring.
I shy away from watercolor b/c I feel I never do it right, but I was pleased with these results from the great tips from the class.

The following card features products from
Super Sponsors of  the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
Paper Smooches (honeycomb die
Honey Bee Stamps  (sentiment)

This Spring Card Camp challenge yielded two cards.
Here's the other one with a Concord and 9th  "hello" die
and Paper Smooches Bee die

Coffee Lovers Hop: Summer Edition Card #2

Playing along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer Edition.  This is card #2.
I recently got the free "thanks" die from MFT with my last order.
I cut the word out of the top panel plaid paper (Lawn Fawn)
and added the Fiskars coffee cup.
The inside is a gift card holder.

Lawn Fawn's Card Slots Die used on the inside.
Quick and easy!

I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:

Thanks for stopping by the blog.
My next post will feature the letters cut out of this plaid paper.

HI!

HI There.  Happy Fourth of July!
Thanks to all former, current and future military families for their
service to this great country.

This card features a die I picked up at Hobby Lobby (LYB?)
I made the background one evening playing around with watercolor swipes and splatters.
