Lawnscaping Fall Hop

Welcome to our Lawnscaping Fall blog hop
 I'm so glad you're here!
You should have come to me by way of Sabine's blog "Paper, Buttons, Stamps and Tiny Bows and Pink Dots in Little Rows"..  Wasn't her ghostly project adorable?
The month's theme is all things pumpkin and beautiful changing leaves: FALL
The hop runs from Friday, October 5th, all the way until Sunday, October 7th (11:59)PM Make sure to comment on all of the blogs to be eligible for some FANTASTIC prizes!
All of the details can be found on the Lawnscaping home page.

My fall inspired card features three Lawn Fawn Sets (Harvest Season, Say Cheese, You've Got Mail).  The pumpkin was colored with Copics and pieced into the Polaroid.
Other supplies include the Trendy Spellbinders embossing folder, burlap ribbon
string and BG paper.

Also, if you enjoy making cards for kids, I invite you to join my Card Drive for Addison, a 6 year girl who was just diagnosed with Leukemia on 9/28/12!!!
This is so close to my heart, as she is the daughter of one of my dearest friends.
She has been placed on a TWO YEAR treatment plan.
You can find all the information about her, the card guidelines and
PRIZES (including Lawn Fawn, HOLLA!) on my post HERE!!

Now, head on over to see what Jen has made at "Caffeinated Papercuts"!
If you've gotten off-track, don't worry! Head back to the Lawnscaping blog to see the complete list of designers and prize information!

Polaroid Birthday Card

Been busy here at our house.
My husband and I ripped all the shelving out of our master closet then patched, painted and rehung new shelving this weekend.  SO much more functional.

I am still working on the 16 scrapbook pages (8 for each child)
from our vacation last summer.
The basics are completed, just need to embellish a bit.
Nothing to write home about, just simple pages to remember the trip.

Made little progress on my 3 dimensional art project for our bedroom.
Bought the wrong paper, ran out of spray paint, ran out of glue sticks, ran out of motivation,
yadda yadda

Anyway, sharing a card I made this morning.
Lots if birthdays coming in October so I need to stock up!

The sentiments are supposed to mimic a flash going off...

Ok so this is my first attempt at coloring with Copics.
I won 40 of the Copic Ciao markers from Kathy's blog giveaway.
I admit I did not review any videos prior to coloring.
If you know of some good ones, please link me up.
I think it is *ok* for my first go at it.
Maybe looks better from a distance, hee hee

More Picture Perfect Summer cards

Hi.
Sharing some cards I made using Lawn Fawn stamps and Echo Park's "Splash" collection.
These were given to my son's teachers.
My original version is HERE.
My Quinn's ABC set was ruined after I made the first one
(note to self: shut door to room when kid sitting) so I had to make some changes.

The banner was cut out of the paper and the "String" was drawn by hand:

Stamps by Lawn Fawn: Quinn's ABCs, Harold's ABCs, Say Cheese, Swimsuit Season
Papers by Echo Park "Splash"

I am submitting these cards in the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

Today is the first official day of summer for the boys!
Wish me luck, hee hee!!
Thanks for looking,

Papers: Echo Park
Other: Uniball pen, gems

I am submitting this card into the Lawnscaping #34: Embossing Challenge
