blue/orange b-day card

Sharing a birthday card.
I changed the Craft's Meow sketch up a bit to get a more masculine feel.
Always need more masculine b-days cards in my stash,
but really this could go to either gender.

I used my Cricut to cut the star.
The stamped images/sentiments are from the Typically Teen set
designed by Karen Baker for The Craft's Meow.

I stamped the swosh from the set on the inside.
I put pumice and spiced marlade inks on my mat and inked the stamp.
Then, I spritzed it with Perfect Pearls and water.
Hard to see the shimmer, but it looks pretty cool!

Here's the July Sketch:

Supplies:
Stamps: Typically Teen
Papers: MME The Bright Side: One
distress inks: spiced marmalade, pumice, faded jeans
Other: buttons, gems, burlap string, Cricut, Sizzix stars die, pop dots

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
buttons

Thanks for looking,
Kelly
