Winnie and Walter Bday Bash: Gradient Challenge

with Vanessa.

I chose Distress Spun Sugar, SSS Cotton Candy and HA Red Royal inks.
My card features the W&W set "The Big, the Bold, and the Happy"
with "Big Bang Confetti" in the background.
Those wee wood veneer peeps came from my friend Amy Tsuruta.

W&W Bday Bash: Rotation Challenge

Playing along with a few challenges at Winnie and Walter.
The first one I will share is a card I made for the In Rotation Technique Challenge.

At first the images were going to be flowers,
but it really didn't play out that way once I got started.
Thought this could be a cheerful card for a friend.

I used "The Big, the Bold and the Happy" as well as "Big Bang Confetti".
The inks are by Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts.

Happy New Year.
Thanks for visiting,
Kelly

Fusion: One Year Anniversay Challenge

Made this birthday card for my father using
MME papers and Winnie and Walter stamps
for the current FUSION challenge.

I incorporated both the chalk board image and the sketch in this card.
I embossed the sentiments in white and smudged a bit of HA Unicorn white ink for effect.

The number dies are by My Favorite Things.

Cupcake Inspirations 291: Coffee Themed Bday

Made this birthday card based on the Cupcake Inspiration challenge photo:

I used the white icing and the tan cupcakes for my colors.
I embossed the coffee image from Reverse Confetti in white on vellum.
The coffee and cream was stamped in brown and paper pieced.
I used Stampendous frontage on the edges.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: The Holiday Edition Part 2

I am sharing my second card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
HERE is my first card for the hop, a pop-up card.

This one features a design from my Silhouette Cameo and Echo Park papers.

Check out Amy Tsuruta's blog for all the information on
how to join the fun and be eligible for some great prizes.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to create these cards.
I cut the tops in heavy weight paper.  The "sleeves" are made from Echo Park paper.

The top is attached when it is cut on the machine.  How cool!
Makes an easy shaped card.

I made a few designs.
Simple and Clean.
I will use these as gift card holders for the boys' teachers.

Thanks for visiting.
Enjoy your hopping,
Kelly

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: The Holiday Edition Part 1

Happy Holidays!
Feels like I fell off the planet for a few weeks,
but believe me when I say that I am still crafting.
Work has kept me from posting and visiting blogs,
but I wanted to be sure to join in the fun with the Coffee Lovers Holiday Blog Hop.
There are many great sponsors so check out the hop,
get inky and link up for a chance to win.

All the info, link up spots and sponsors can be found on Amy Tsuruta's blog.

Here's is my first card for the hop.  I used most of the sentiments in my Hero Art Holiday set for the front.  The words are embossed in Ranger Platinum.

and VIOLA!  You open it up and it is a POP-UP card.
My 7 year old BOY was in the craft room one day and showed me how to make
one by hand.  His art teacher showed him how to make it.
My pop-up features the Reverse Confetti "Be a Barista" set.
I stamped it on red foil and heat set the ink with clear embossing powder.
I used wire for the steam and a wee bit of dimension fabric paint for the "cream".

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn and Reverse Confetti
Ink: Ranger black., HA silver
Misc: wire, clear embossing powder, Ranger embossing powder

I have another card to share featuring my Cameo.
Thanks for visiting.
Go get another cup of java and enjoy hopping,
Kelly

Poppy Sketch #17

Back today with another card for Poppy Sketch Challenge #17.
This challenge is sponsored by Starving Artists Stamps.
I am using an adorable alien stamp called Final Frontier

I stamped the alien in Navy ink and paired it with a sentiment by Lawn Fawn.
The shimmering silver background paper is by Cut Cardstock.
The glittery star and raspberry papers are by DCWV.
I embossed the stars in white to create a background.
The circles were made with Lawn Fawn dies.

Thanks for stopping by.
I can't wait to see what you create using this great sketch and color challenge.
