Sharing a card I made for the Simon Says Stamp

Wednesday Challenge: Sparkle and Shine.

 

This was a shaker card I gave to a special person leaving our school district for a new job.

I cut a slit in the gift bag and used it as bag décor as well as the card.

Papers: Simple Stories and DCWV

Die Cuts: SSS Stitched Rectangles

Shaker Stuff: Michael's and Martha Stewart

Furry Friend with a dash of Glitter

Hello there. 

Sharing a card I made for my mom's birthday. 

She loves squirrels so I used the Lawn Fawn's  "Critters in the Burbs"  and "Chit Chat"  sets.

The background panel was made with texture paste mixed with Distress Ink and Martha Stewart fine glitter on the Hero Arts Monogram stencil.

The cloud background is washi tape.

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Furry Friends Challenge and the Lawnscaping Sparkle and Shine Challenge (glitter in the texture paste).

Hard to see but I put Martha Stewart fine glitter in the texture paste.

This was a card I gave my mother-in-law.

 

Features a jar stamped on vellum by Whimsy Stamps

     and Stampin Up flowers that are stamped, cut out and popped.

The pretty purple ink is Hero Arts.

SSS Favorites Challenge: Stencils!!

Popping in today to enter the Simon Says Stamp Favorite Product or Technique Challenge.  I have recently become OBSESSED with stencils.  LOVE them.  I used Ranger texture paste enhanced with Martha Stewart fine glitter with the My Favorite Things tiny brick stencil.  The school themed stamps are by Lawn Fawn. 

 

Hard to see the shimmer in the bricks, but believe me, it is FANTASTIC!

 

 

 

I made a bunch of these for the boys' teachers this spring.

The sentiment was embossed in white.

Bit of gloss on the apple.
