Just a Note

When I saw the inspiration photo on the Cupcake Craft blog,
I knew I wanted to make something. I just love daisies!
I combined the photo with a few other challenges and came up with this card:

I made the tag by embossing the flowers in white and then layering distress inks over the embossed flowers.  The flower centers were made with flocking powder.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Put a stamp on it
Cupcake Craft #208: Photo Inspiration
Ribbon Carousel #69: Beautiful Bows

Cupcake Craft Photo Inspiration:

Craft's Meow September Sketch:

Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts "Layered Flowers", Paper Smooches "Sentiment Sampler"
Inks: Distress in Faded Jeans and Broken China
Papers: patterned paper by MME
Other:twisted burlap string and net ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel, Twinery twine, flocking powder

Thanks for looking,
Kelly

  2. Love your card, great take on the sketch! I really like the flocking! Did you see that ranger has a new powder that is like embossing and when you heat it up it gets sticky for glitter and flocking? I am so excited I want it! When I saw you use flocking today I had to make sure you knew!
