Composition Book #2

Here's another covered composition book I made for Christmas. This one also features the DCWV papers from the "Farmer's Market" collection, Spellbinders Labels 8 die, the Storybook Cricut cartridge for the name and Lawn Fawn alpha stamps called "Harold's ABC" for the word "notes". I want my books to be pretty flat to put in tote bags, etc. so there's nothing too bulky on this one. I may go back and add some google eyes the that cute little mouse though! Thanks for looking!

Cherry Good Wishes

This is a composition book I covered for a gift this coming Christmas. Supplies: paper by DCWV "Farmer's Market"; Cricut Lyrical Letters cart; Alpha stamps by Lawn Fawn called "Harold's ABC". That little alpha set is "da bomb"! You can make any word you need. The set includes some extra lower case letters to make it even easier to create wording! Thanks for looking! Have a blessed day!

An Old Card Made New

I found this "thank moo" card in my stash. I made this two years ago for our son's 1st birthday. The invites were very similar. I decided it might be fun to give it a face lift!

Here's the new version. The spots are cuttlebugged with the swirls folder. I used black stazon ink with the Rubber Stampede image. I added the black and white ribbon (his b-day layout has cow print ribbon), the pop of red and bling, glossy accents on the cow, and stamped the words using Lawn Fawn's "Harold's ABC" set. I repeated the ribbon on the inside. Ahhhhh, that's much better! -Kelly

My first follower!

My new baby blog has its first follower! Welcome Suzanne!

Did two miles on the "treadwheel" (Alex's name for it) and ran 1 1/4 miles of it. Felt great!

The rain kept us home today. The boys enjoyed their new room configurations, we briefly worked on some letters, they captured "bad guys" with unwound leis and we just "chilled".

Cupcake card

Here's a card I made from Making Memories "Sabrina" paper, Doodlecharms Cricut cart, and Spellbinder Labels Eight die.

Trying to add a picture...

Testing the image uploading feature of blog spot. Apparently, it is so easy even I can figure it out! YEAH! This is a picture of our Australian Shepherd, Sydney Anne, she LOVES the snow.
God Bless!

Well, now my legs are shot.

Jogged 1.5 miles and walked a half mile. Glad the day is almost over. The boys (3 and 5) are enjoying the new box of "Scrabble" Cheez-Its. The older one is helping the younger one find the letters in his name. Tasty and educational! Brilliant!

Welcome to my little spot in space...

I decided to create a blog place to post some of my little creations. I enjoy making cards, crafts with my boys and scrapbook layouts. Off to take a jog on the treadmill. We'll see what comes of this....
